On behalf of the UKEA Women’s Club, I would like to invite you to a Tea Party to be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009. As the first women-only exclusive event organised by the UKEA women’s club, we are inviting about 20 prominent Kenyan diaspora women in order to Network, get to know each other and to address important issues affecting Kenyan women in the Netherlands.
The party has also been organised to celebrate with Rose Rugano and her baby boy Mathew Mburu. This event is being sponsored by SOAAIDS Nederland and part of the programme will involve discussion of issues of family, sexuality, relationships and safe sex among diaspora women in the Netherlands.
The party will be held at the Buurthuis de Draaikolk on Lekstraat 2, Waterwijk, Almere Stad from 13:00hrs to 17:00hrs. We therefore hope that you will plan to attend this event to support the women’s club. Your transport costs will be refunded.
Please confirm your attendance before Wednesday May 27, 2009 by writing to our assistant secretary and Womens Coordinator Ms. Agnes Mburu at
